  • “Algeria is a member of the Mediterranean Union and it is keen to preserve property of the Mediterranean waters, but when we talk about the need to activate it, this is a question of positions and decisions by some member countries”, Medelci said about Nicolas Sarkozy MU project.
  • “Algeria, like the other Arab countries, against the Israeli attacks on Gaza, and France has to review its position in order to allow the general secretariat of the MU to push the outstanding projects forward, because Gaza is today the world’s concern not only Arabs”, he said in reference to the position of France towards the Israeli attacks on the Gaza strip.
