Movement of change to include governors on December

The Interior Ministry started the preparation for the announcement of a partial change in the sector of governors next December, at a time the Interior Minister Dahou Ould Kablia will meet the governors in three regional meetings, before the end of this month, in the context of regular meetings that ‭he consistently ‭activated since his appointment, ‭to ensure regular assessment of the performance of ‭governors ‭and re-order the ‭priorities and updating ‭schemes of ‭development, ‭according to the new changes. ‬

According to reliable sources, the President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika, gave the Interior Ministry green light to finish the projects of the partial change in the sector of governors, while the interior ministry decided to launch this movement in the wake of elections to renew the elected local and municipal councils, that are scheduled for 29 November, and the inauguration of these councils.

Echorouk sources indicated that the talk about partial movement did not mean the digital term, or the change for certain wilayas without the others, as it will not exclude the wilayas that noticed a movement of change two years ago.

The movement expected in the sector of governors, will put the 48 wilayas in the balance, as this movement will be subject to a variety of factors, under a large title about respecting the assessment of performance and dissection of proceeds, as evaluation will take into account the results achieved within the development program underlined for the wilayas in all its aspects, related to the projects of housing, and the progress of public service and infrastructure.

Authorities will also focus on assessing relationship with governors and the extent of their response with popular demands, to ensure the needs of citizens, and at this point, the factor of popular protests will be a “thermometer” and larger coefficient to calculate the scores that will be included in determining the rate of payroll of points of governors’ relationship with citizens and local, on the grounds that the strained relationship between management represented by the governor and local elected officials, which usually reflect negatively on the development of the region.
