Mps and members of FLN central committee choose Saidani as Secretary General

A number of Mps at the national popular council, and members of FLN’s central committee, signed on Monday, a political statement that contained a list of their signatures, to support the candidature of Ammar Saidani, Former speaker of People’s National Assembly, for the position of Secretary General at FLN party, to succeed Abdelaziz Belkhadem, praising his victories during his era.

Mps and members of the party’s central committee, who signed on the statement, which is the first of the kind since the departure Abdelaziz Belkhadem, justified their political initiative, by their commitment to take responsibility in saving the party from the current political and organizational crisis, to enable him play his role in the national political life, especially as FLN is the victorious party in the elected bodies, and the supporter of the president’s large program, asserting that the stability of FLN is Algeria’s stability as well, especially in light of the current circumstances, which notice regional and international challenges.

The Mbps call for fighting against those who take advantage of the situation to disturb the atmosphere, and feed the sedition and division among the honorable members and officials, through the political show of power outside the legal and legislative frameworks of the party. They also call for stopping propaganda and using campaign to distort its reputation and dignity of some leaders of the party.
