MPs:”Stop raising the issue of our wages and talk about athletes and Ministers”

FLN MPs called for stopping talk about their wages, which are equivalent to 400.000 dinars annually, and ask for disclosing the wages of officials and ministers, and the unbelievable sums which are allocated for sporting clubs including football clubs, that receive billions without showing good performance that honours the national colours.

Session that was allocated on Wednesday to discuss the draft law on organising the physical and sport activities, was also an opportunity for the MPs to answer those who criticised the decision of reviewing the grants that were allocated to them, like the grant of catering, accommodation and transport.

FLN MP Mohamed Messaoud said that MPs were subject to a fierce campaign, like that against the military institution, under the pretext of Tiguentourine attack and then the violation of the air space, to reach justice then the President’s illness.

“They trade and deceive the public opinion, and we do not conduct a corrupt act, they should raise the wages of high officials because we did not create the MPs wages. What about the money that was allocated to the national football team and players that were brought from abroad. A discussion should be open on the policy of wages from the simple worker to the highest official in the state”, he added.
