MSP to support Bouteflika’s third term candidacy

Spokesman of the Algerian, Movement of Society for Peace, Abdelmadjid Menasra announced Tuesday the party’s support for the president’s third term candidacy; “We are willing to contribute in the electoral campaign for the upcoming elections. We decided to found a new party, if Soltani, head of the party, insisted on refusing ways of change inside the party”.   

• “I will not speak about the party’s problems, which exacerbated after the last conference. I kept silent for eight months in order to give an opportunity to solve the problems and unit. I’m sorry because we were dissident during the forth conference”, he added.
• “Abu Djarra Soltani is exercising a collective marginalization of tires and members in the movement, which led to division inside it, as well as his insistence on refusing dialogue and neglecting the existence of a real crisis. I wrote a letter for him asking for dialogue but he did not reply,” he criticized.
• Important members and leaders including Ahmed Adane, Ben Grina, Chenine and Salem Cherif participated in the conference, and opposed MSP’s head, Abu Djerra Soltani, after the national symposium held last week end in Algiers. Other 700 members decided to launch a solidarity campaign with Gaza’s people, and on how to deal with the coming benefits, as well as the MSP’s situation.
• “Participants in the conference may decide about relying on other solutions, if the leader insisted on imposing his opinions, including the foundation of a new movement. Everyone is free to choose his own house”.
