Multifaceted cooperation agreement signed between Algiers and Madrid

Algerian interior minister, Noureddine Yazid Zerhouni stated that the government will take its responsibilities concerning the expelled “illegal immigrants”, and will provide all the facilities to guarantee their rights.

• On the official visit of the his Spanish counterpart, Alfredo Perez Rebelcaba, the Algerian minister yesterday declared at the international Airport lobby” Algeria is fighting illegal immigration” as a principle but he added, “ As concerns the return of the Algerian citizens from abroad, Algeria as a state is fulfilling its duty towards its citizens and we’ll do the necessary to facilitate the their come back and guarantee their rights”;
• For his part, the Spanish minister replied to the journalists’ questions saying that the deal yesterday signed between both countries concerns security cooperation in its various aspects including the fight against terrorism , organized crime and illegal immigration.
