Municipality guards elements demand and inquiry over the death of their comrade

The national coordinator of the municipality police Hakim Chouaib has indicated that the authorities have rushed to burry their fellow comrade who died the day before yesterday in his home town, Ain Defla, without being consulted by a coroner to determine the real causes behind his death.

• In a declaration to Echourouk, he lashed out at the municipality police chief of the Ain Defla for attempting to cover- up the causes behind the death of Lassfer Said (52) when he declared that the late was ill.

• “ Why didn’t he die when he staged a rally in Blida”, he said. ‘The truth is that his death was the consequence of assaults he received from the riot –police with clubs, stones and hot water”

• He further added that “ hundreds of municipality guards were ill during the rally in Blida but didn’t suffer further physical damage”, noting that the fact that the victim was not checked by the coroner, proves that there was clear intent to cover up reality over the causes of his death .

• Hakim Chouaib has refuted the declarations made the interior minister Dahou Oueld kablia who said that 80% of the grievances were fulfilled, noting that the requests were fulfilled at 15% only.

• To recall, dozens of municipality guards headed for the province of Ain Defla to extend their condolences to the victim’s family and forwarded a sum of money collected by fellow comrades that were staging a rally in the province of Blida
