The national gendarmerie spokesman, Colonel Ayoub Abderrehmane has declared that the gendarmerie officer has a complete “freedom” when dealing with his investigation, but is still questionable to the judicial authorities.

He went on saying that the gendarmerie officer has to “carry out his duty within the laws of the republic and has to respect Human Rights by avoiding any form of violence whether corporal or moral as well as any breach of human dignity”.
