National Popular Army aborts terrorist’s conference

Well informed sources revealed that the National Popular Army Saturday morning aborted an attempt to organize a conference by the terrorist group “salafit group for call and combat” in the region of Tizi Ouzou (100 km from Algiers) and eliminated two dangerous terrorists.

• The operation started very early in the morning with a global and gradual combing of the dense forest region backed by helicopters and a sudden bombing   of the terrorists hideouts.
• The military troops, the sources added, collected information that terrorist groups were operating in the fighting area and exchanged fire for more than hour resulting in the elimination of two terrorists and several other injuries in addition to the recovery of two machine guns.
•  To recall, this the second military operation of its kind in the region of Tizi Ouzou, after the one carried out last summer where military troops succeeded to abort another conference planned by the same terrorist organization in the dense forests of Maatka.
