The general manager of the Algerian telecommunication Nedjma, Joseph Jade yesterday declared that his company was informed by the regulation authority to disrupt the unidentified lines by next May.

M. Jade considered that it was out of reach to settle the case of all subscribers in such a small period, adding that the relevant authorities have to extend the deadline for another two months.

Invited to “Al Moudjahid Forum” he declared that the number of unidentified Nedjma users doesn’t exceed 10% of the overall subscribers estimated at some 5 millions, and that his company received more than 10 thousands subscribers to settle their case over the last six weeks.

M Jade questioned the usefulness of such a procedure, especially that the market is flooded by chips , adding that the bets way to this phenomenon is to cooperate between the phone providers operating in Algeria to limit the illicit acquisition of cell lines.
