New CEO for Algeria Telecom
Algeria Telecom

CEO of Algeria Telecom group Mouloud Djaziri who was appointed on January 2nd has been removed from managing the group, according to sources close to post and communication technology sector.

Mouloud Daziri has been replaced by Moussa Hamadi who is 60 years old.  While it was expected that communication minister Boudjemaa Haichour would make some changes on the sector which suffers from anarchy due to malfunctioning, every one was surprised by Mouloud Djaziri removal without knowing the real causes, said the same sources.

He was informed of the decision after he had signed a strategic partnership agreement with the US company Sisco Systems.

The new designation aims at ameliorating services of that old partner, the sources added.

Echorouk’s sources confirmed that Ben Hammadi Moussa’s designation at Algeria Telecom group will be followed by a large reshuffle in the group’s branches in order to improve its services and to recapture leadership in the Algerian communication services field.
