New Customs' Procedures for the Benefit of Importers

Services of Customs started on Sunday the application of the work with the text of the law on the accredited economic companies , which facilitates the procedures for the benefit of the importers, and provides them with a set of privileges, that may be reflected in the prices of goods and imported products, on the grounds that these actions are a one of he proceduers which apply cut s on the‭ costs of these goods‭. ‬

The General Directorate of Customs explained on Sunday, that the new measure under the provisions of the Executive Decree No. 12/93, granted to the economic clients, the opportunity to benefit from relief of customs’ measures, to encourage economic activity and to support investment, and tighten the partnership between customs and companies, as it also called economic companies, that are interested to these new measures, to visit the services of customs, for the filing of applications for accreditation.

same authorities asserted that the approved economic status of the trader will give priority for large companies, that are active in the production in various economic sectors, according to details provided by the Customs Department‭.
