New details reveal GSPC’s need for support

The terrorist, Amr Titraoui, nicknamed Abou Khathima, leader of Al Fatah sub-battalion, belonging to the SGPC, who was arrested killed last weekend in Bourmedes, east of Algiers, was waiting for the handing over of a large amount of money by other terrorist, who called him in order to meet with him in the region, investigators say. 

• Security services monitored his moves since drove a 404 type car after receiving information about details of the terrorist operation. The terrorist was wearing a jean, sports shoes and a leather long jacket. He seemed very ordinary without a beard, until he was caught near a restaurant where elements of the Algerian army asked him to surrender and come out of the car, but he refused and tried to enter to the restaurant, this obliged them to shoot him without any hesitation, and he died inside the restaurant.
• This incident revealed that the leaders and emirs of the GSPC are searching for money in order to bring food and medicines, after the dismantling of many supporting networks and after the leaders of the GSPC lost trust in their fellows because they have doubts that they are recruited by the security forces who tries to penetrate inside the organization.
• Previously, Droudkel discovered that many of his fellows used funds from robbery, looting, ransoms, to develop their personal projects, particularly in real estates and transportation sectors.
• Families of many terrorists became rich, that’s why the security forces decided to launch investigations about the sources behind this richness. They found that the terrorists are involved in money laundering.
