New partnership between Algerian and French ports

General Director of Customs, Mohamed Abdou Bouderbala, said there are 18 control systems that are out of work in Algiers ports because of the lack of spare parts. This problem makes it difficult for customs work in the right time.   

• “The two devices in Skikda port, east of Algeria, will be ready for exercise end of February,” he added.
• “We must tighten control on the Algerian waters and form controllers in order to support the customs through a partnership between Algiers and Marseille’s ports, and Oran, west of Algeria, and Marseille’s ports”.
