One million diabetics do not have the free medicines card

Director of the diabtics organization, Faiçal Ouhada, revealed that the procedures of extracting the free medecines’ card for the patients who do not receive any wages, knew big problemes and disruption at the level of the social security and municipalities, which receive the patients’ files, because of problems in the card’s file, in addition to the negligence of files at the municipal level and loss.

• The spokesman told Echorouk, that 60 percent of the total estimated at two million and 500,000 diabetics have been unable for more than two years to obtain the card, and most of them are unemployed youngmen diabetics.    
• The diabetics association aknowleged an alarm because of the disruption in the procedures of extracting such cards, because the diabetics face many difficulties to get free medecines despite the fact that legislation stipulates that people with chronic diseases benefit from insurance hundred percent.
