OPEC to cut 2.2 million barrels, says Khelil

OPEC President Chakib Khelil said Wednesday the group decided a record cut in oil output of 2.2 million barrels a day starting from January.

• In an extraordinary meeting held in Oran (west of Algeria), Chakib Khelil urged non-member countries to contribute to the cut.
