Over 25000 Syrians Entered Algeria to Escape War
Over 25000 Syrians entered the Algerian territory since the outbreak of the Syrian Revolution to the present day, as some of them came with their families and their kids, and some others came alone, and reached even the southern and western wilayas searching for a decent life, and also escaping from destruction and war in Syria.
Many of the Syrians were unable to live in their country after the outbreak of the Syrian revolution, especially in the dangerous areas of Syria like the city of Homs.
The number of Syrian refugees who came to Algeria increased because there is no visa requirement for them.
Currently, the Syrian refugees face several problems, especially after the end of the residence period which should not exceed three months, otherwise they will become illegal immigrants, which would put them under judicial prosecution, as many of them were subject to trial and deportation, because the Algerian law do not allow extending the residence, only if one got a business contract, for this reason many of the Syrian refugees face many problems.
