Panic aboard Air Algerie plane in Algiers-Dakar flight
Air Algerie plane that was flying from Algiers to Dakar was forced on Wednesday to land at Tindouf Airoport, due to a technical problem that forced it to stat in the sky fir two hours.
Echorouk reliable sources said that the plane of the type Boing 737/800, took off from Houari Boumediene international airport, at about 8 pm heading to the Senegalese capital Dakar, taking on board 30 passengers who are mostly French, as well as Algerian and African nationals, which raised a state of emergency and panic among them.
Echorouk sources added that the plane’s crew announced a state of emergency and adopted an emergency plan through landing in the closest airport, as it was directed to Tindouf Airport, where a plan for forced landing was allocated for it, as passengers were received by the civil and military authorities at 11 pm.
