Pilot assistants' protest paralyzes Algiers airport

Pilots’ assistants at Air Algérie company launched, on Monday morning, protests for several hours without warning, which paralyzed international flights, and canceled a number of flights, as other flights were delayed, then hundreds of travelers found themselves detained at airports, and dozens of patients were unable to join dates of treatment in France in particular.
Echorouk found, on Monday morning, in a field tour to Houari Boumediene International Airport, long queues for travelers at Air Algerie registration boxes, in order to nail the opportunity to register on board Air Algerie flight, because pilots’ assistants launched a protest starting from 4 AM, without announcing it in advance.
Mohammed, an elderly, 60; “Why do travelers are tortured so .. my trip to Marseille, was canceled, but those who were in Paris flight boarded normally”.
Another young man said: “My trip to Paris was also cancelled. Workers do not feel responsible, there are patients who have been late on their treatment dates in France and why? “
French travelers who were heading to Nice, and who was holding a number of national newspapers, said: “We read today that there is a trend towards opening the air space for private companies. Does this strike, which tortured people intended that matter? Workers have the right to protest but there are ethics that must be followed.”
Air Algérie administration resorted to assembling a number of flights to Paris in unified flights aboard large planes that are allocated for pilgrims, as a solution to cope with the fluctuations of flights, while many flights were delayed and canceled like Paris, Rome, Amman and Marseille flights.
