PM Sellal pays visit to Greens of Algeria ahead of crucial play-off qualifier vs Burkina Fasso

Algerian Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, paid on Thursday a visit to the players of the Algerian national football squad and the technical staff at the sports technical center of Sidi Moussa in suburban Algiers during which he conveyed them the best wishes of the President of the Republic, Abdellaziz Bouteflika, ahead of their crucial second-leg play off qualifier versus the national team of Burkina Fasso on November 19th at the Tchaker stadium in the city of Blida, 50 kms west of the capital Algiers.

On the spot, Mr Sellal urged the Algeria football team players to be up to the mark and do their utmost on the pitch so as to clinch the much-coveted qualifying ticket for the upcoming World Cup tournament to be hosted in mid 2014 by Brazil.

The visiting Prime minister who had lunch with the players in a convivial atmosphere, said all means would be put at the players’ disposal in a bid to allow them to be in the best frame of mind before and during the November 19th decisive qualifier against Burkina Fasso with the ultimate objective of winning this match with flying colours to the delight of all the Algerian people.

On this occasion, Mr Abdelmalek Sellal was offered by team captain Madjid Bouguerra a jersey of the national football squad as a token of gratitude for the authorities’ constant help and warm encouragement in expectation of the paramount play-off qualifier versus the potent Burkinabe squad at the Tchaker stadium.

The Prime Minister also seized the opportunity of this good-natured get-together to urge national team coach, Wahid Hallilovidz, to work out the most appropriate strategy of play in order to guide the Algerian players towards a splendiferous victory on D-day.
