PM Sellal to meet ministers to close open files before presidential elections

Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal will hold next week a government meeting, in order to continue the study of a number of outstanding introductory and executive projects, including the preliminary draft law which amends and supplements the Order No. 70-20 of 19 February 1970 concerning the civil status.

The meeting which will be held on the ninth of January, comes a week after the cabinet meeting, which was supervised by President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, and through which he approved five legislative drafts, which centered on the draft law that defines the general rules on civil aviation, and the bill on bonds and travel documents, as the extension of the validity of the passport to ten years was approved, and the bill of biological resources, as well as a draft law amending and supplementing the law 07-81 on training to better respond to the needs of the labor market, and the bill social cooperative.

Echorouk sources said that the meeting will be chaired by Sellal, who will discuss along with the Finance Minister Karim Djoudi, the executive decree through which he specifies the amounts and ways for granting compensation to the members of the trade committees, and members of the committees of arbitration contests and special deciders and officials in charge of the secretaries of trade committees, as well as the implementation of a project which includes declaration of the public benefit for the process that is related to the works of cleansing Oued El Harrach, as the works will finish by the end of 2016 to make it a space for rest and relaxation after getting rid of the waterway and odors, for the benefit of Algiers inhabitants.

The end of works of configuration at the level of the north bank of the valley was announced, on an area of ​​5 hectares.

Abdelmalek Sellal, accompanied by the State and Interior Minister, Tayeb Belaiz, will address a draft executive decree concerning the conditions and ways of application to reduce the amount of tax on the gross income or corporate income tax for the benefit of natural persons or legal residents and practitioners for the activities in each of Adrar, Tindouf, Tamanrasset and Illizi (southern Algeria).

Transport Minister, Ammar Ghoul, will also present a report on the status of implementation of the five-year program for the sector’s public investment, during the period 2010-2014, while the Minister of Water Resources, Houcine Nassib, will present, according to the agenda, the outcome of major projects which implementation has initiated.
