State subsidy for the rural housing, which is currently estimated at 700.000 ZDZ, is likely to be revised soon and will be changes to 80.000 or 90.000 ZDZ, Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal said.

The Prime Minister explained, during his inspection visit to Naama Wilaya, southern Algeria, where he was accompanied by Seven Ministers that the construction of rural houses must be according to a specified book of conditions.

“Grant of 70,000 ZDZ is possibly not enough in these areas, and government may increase the housing subsidy to the limits of 80,000 and 90,000 ZDZ in these areas with special characteristics.

PM Sellal seemed at the top of anger due to the bad policy of distributing housing in Naama Wilaya, and especially the rural housing in Al Machria Daira, as he asked clarification from the officials about the reason behind the refusal to distribute 8000 rural houses, and said, “We do not want to practice politics through distributing houses”, and gave a month for officials to distribute 8,000 rural houses on owners in coordination with the governor.
