Posts strike force families to beg for money
The movement of strike conducted by the postmen several days ago has reached a stalemate despite the ministry’s assurances to fulfill their grievances, forcing thousands of Algerian families to strive to get money in order to meet their daily needs.
The protests are set to be extended to other sectors like health , education and justice in the coming few days.
The protest movement has prevented thousands of employees from withdrawing their salaries adding thus to their daily doldrums especially that the strike started coincided with the return of their children from the winter holidays.
The movement has stirred anger amidst a total indifference of the authorities that didn’t interfere to end the conflict through underpinning, thus, all efforts to return to normalcy.
Other sectors of activities are set to go on strike including the education one, whose union has announced a movement of strike as of newt January 16, with the view to pressuring the relevant ministry to fulfill their past demands including the acquisition of housing units in the southern parts of Algeria for foreign languages teachers willing to work in those remote regions.
The justice sector has hinted to the probability of resuming its movement of strike anew after noticing that their grievances were not met by the relevant ministry despite all the assurances.
