Pre-employment workers to protest in Algeria
Pre-employment workers will took to the street on October 23rd in different provinces in Algeria in response to the employment minister’s remarks about their situation.
“The pre-employment contracts policy was just meant to have social peace and reduce unemployment. The planned protests come as result of oppressive practices and wrongdoings against the National Committee of Pre-employment Contracts,” the committee’s president Mohamed Boulcina told Echorouk.
“Due to this marginalization and social exclusion and as door to dialogue is still closed, the committee conveys a clear message to the president to promulgate an ordinance to attribute permanent positions to those people,” he added.
The committee called on all the pre-employment people to protest in order to obtain their legitimate rights.
