• Tuesday’s working visit of inspection by the head of state Abdellaziz Bouteflika to Tamanrasset will revolve on five axes including among others the political and social juncture of the country, as well as the security situation on the Algerian borders with our neighbors and the sustained anti-terrorism struggle.

• To this effect, the reception of the project of waters’ transfer from In Salah to Tamanrasset is one of the factors guaranteeing the Touaregs’ stability in the southern regions of the country.

• This mega hydraulics project providing for the supply of about 100.000 cubic meters of drinking water from now to 2050 has required a financial package of around 200 billion dinars.

• During his visit, President Bouteflika will inaugurate and give the kick-off to a number of socio-economic and educational achievements in addition to the inauguration of a new road linking Tamanrasset to In Guezzam extending over 420 km.
