President Bouteflika in Tripoli to partake in Africa-Europe Summit

TRIPOLI (Libya)- President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has arrived Sunday afternoon in Tripoli (Libya) to partake in the 3rd Africa-Europe Summit.

Several heads of State and Government of Africa and Europe are expected to partake in the Summit, which will be held on Monday and Tuesday in the Libyan capital under the theme of “Investment, economic growth and job creation.”

Tripoli Summit will address a number of issues relating particularly to peace and security, climate change, regional integration and private sector development, infrastructures and energy, agriculture and food security, as well as migration.

The two previous summits were held in Cairo (Egypt) in 2000 and in Lisbon (Portugal) in 2007.
