Presidential Elections 2014: Political Activists launch the second initiative to cut the road in front of Bouteflika's fourth term
Political activists launched another initiative related to the upcoming Presidential Election, saying they aim to “resolving the current deadlock” and encourage the Algerians to wrap around a national figure in the coming elections.
The initiative includes academics, former MPs and retired from the armed forces, led by the retired Brigadier, Abdelaziz M’Djahed, Colonel Messaoud Adimi, MPs, Ezzedine Djerafa, and Khoudja LArkam, and President of the Party of Nature and Growth, Abderrahman Akif.
Political activists said in an interview with Echorouk; “This initiative is the outcome of six months of consultations with all the actors in the political arena in the country, including the names that are expected to present themselves in the coming presidential race, like the former PMs, Mouloud Hamrouche and Ali Benflis.
Organizers of the initiative think, according to a written document delivered for Echorouk, that their political project, aims to solve the problem of governance in Algeria, through the exploitation of the next electoral dates, especially the Presidential Elections, and to convince the national forces for the need to reach a national consensus, which is committed to respect the results of elections.
