About 48% of Algerian students, who succeeded in the BAC exam 2010, obtained their first wish, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Rachid Hraoubi.
- “74402 students chose the pre-schools and 68912 chose to study medicine. Over 113.959 new students been directed according to their first desire out of the total number estimated to 237.543. The Ministry recorded 96% of the new registered who obtained one of the ten desires”.
- “A number of 9836 registered outside their ten desires chosen in the pre-registration by 4% compared to 45.7% in the last year. Measures by the Ministry of Education facilitated the task of students in selecting their specialities”.
