President of the Algerian Football Federation, Mohammed Raouraoua refused to shake hands with the Head of the Egyptian Football Federation, Samir Zaher, during the press conference they hosted following the reception by the Sudanese President Omar Al Bachir.

• This act by Raouraoua came as a response to the explicit campaign of incitement which was launched by Samir Zaher before the 14th    November match between the Algerian and Egyptian teams.
• Mohamed Raouraoua accused his Egyptian counterpart that he was behind the events of violence which permeated the match last Saturday in Cairo.
• The French News Agency AFP quoted Raouraoua; “Zaher was behind all the attacks on Algerians in Cairo, particularly the attack on the bus of the Algerian team which shocked the players and put them in full unsuitable conditions”.
• Head of the Egyptian Federation launched an appeal to the Egyptian fans asking them to “torture the Algerians”, thing which raised tension and irritation to what Zaher called Egyptian fans, and led to bloody events which had affected both the Algerian players and fans who were severely injured.
• The talk by Samir Zaher and his desperate attempt to re-establish the contact with Mohamed Raouraoua, in order to prove that the “Pharaoh” of the Egyptian Federation acknowledge the error after his irresponsible talk, as he was supposed to be punished by the FIFA because it is an explicit incite for violence before the official match organized by FIFA.
• it is unreasonable because Zaher played the role of the victim trying to change the Arab and international public opinion with another lie repeating the words “Brotherhood, Arabism, and friendship ties”, which he forgot when he ordered the attack on the Algerian team and fans.
• Days before the match showed that neither Zaher nor Abou Rida have honored the Egyptian authorities, thing which is not surprising the Algerians because they know the history of the Egyptian football and will never forget the attacks on the Algerian team and Tunisian Etoile Sahel club, as well as the open assault on the team of Zimbabwe in 1993.
