The religious affairs minister Abdellah Ghoulam Allah has yesterday warned against the propagation of foreign believes and the Algerians that embrace them.

He has indicated that the denial of the Algerian Islamic legacy will prompt the individuals to turn towards other sources, noting that Algeria is targeted economically and culturally.

The minister went on saying that the attempt to spread doubtful believes like , for instance, questioning the way of praying centuries after the coming of Islam, could push the believers to embrace another religion considering Christianity more developed than Islam.

Ghoulam Allah has asserted he acknowledges the Algerian Salafi trend only in a response over his concern about the spread of this movement, noting that the Algerian Salafi trend doesn’t pose a problem, but following the others will.

As to the possibility of the increase of pilgrimage’s fares due to the destruction of several building surrounding the holy place, the minster put it clear that the increase will be discussed after the return of the Algerian delegation at the end of February.
