Religious leaders denounce terrorist acts in Algeria

Theologians declared that the terrorist organization “Salafit Group for Call and Combat” is using false doctrine to explain its terrorist acts perpetrated against innocent civilians and that the Droudkel’s organisation is demarcating itself from the “Salafit Group” charter.

• The religious leaders called on the armed terrorists to surrender at earliest and seize the opportunity presented to them given by the Algerian president as part of the national reconciliation plan, to give their activities.
• A prominent figure of the salafit call, Mohammed Sourrour Ben Nayef Zine Al Abidine, called on these marginal saying “ I beg not to miss this opportunity because you will not find in the future any theologian to issue a fatwa to support your acts.”
• This clear message was sent to Droudkel’s followers and the Salafit Call protectors’ activists, led by Salim Alfghani.
• In a special radio program beamed by “Radio Koran”, these theologians tore down to pieces all the arguments put forward by Droudkel and his followers saying that “ the barbarous acts echoes ignorance and despotism , and that these individuals have nothing to do with the God’s spell”
