Religious songs top the charts in Algeria
Unofficial estimates reveal that religious tape and CDs overshadowed Rai music ones, to an extent that most of the professionals are reconsidering their business strategy shifting their interest to these kinds of products in order to increase their profits.

Despite the prevailing anarchy on the Algerian market, a survey carried out over six months on 60 music shops out of 100 showed that demand on religious materials is soaring among the young audience.
