Republic’s Mufti draft bill to be submitted to Algerian President Bouteflika before September

Algerian Religious Affairs Minister Abdellah Ghoulam allah Sunday announced that a draft bill on the Republic’s Mufti will be submitted before the end of September to be approved.

• Speaking on the Great Mosque of Algiers, the minister mentioned that a contract will be signed with the German office in charge of designs after few days.

•  “Consultations with this office have been going on for 3 months to make necessary modifications in the design in coordination with Algerian architects,” he said.
• Ghoullamallah denied media reports on Shia activitists in some Algerian areas. He described those reports as “platforms which promote Shia and Christianity.”
