Republic’s Mufti draft bill to be submitted to Algerian President Bouteflika before September
Algerian Religious Affairs Minister Abdellah Ghoulam allah Sunday announced that a draft bill on the Republic’s Mufti will be submitted before the end of September to be approved.

Speaking on the Great Mosque of Algiers, the minister mentioned that a contract will be signed with the German office in charge of designs after few days.

“Consultations with this office have been going on for 3 months to make necessary modifications in the design in coordination with Algerian architects,” he said.

Ghoullamallah denied media reports on Shia activitists in some Algerian areas. He described those reports as “platforms which promote Shia and Christianity.”
