Saadani: FLN will support Bouteflika for fourth term

Secretary General of Algeria’s FLN Amar Saadani Thursday said he plans to open dialogues with political parties to support President Abdelaziz Bouteflika to extend his term or run for office for the fourth time.

Saadani criticized political parties for saying the FLN should be put in a “history museum.” He gave ten recommendations to the party’s members in order to reach unity by intensifying efforts in the field and create concordance with all the parties.
Saadani said four local conferences will be held in eastern and southern Algeria. They are meant to gather the party’s executives to unify them ahead of the forthcoming presidential elections.
