Salafist Group back to target foreigners searching for mass Media

French consulate in Algeria announced that the French engineer’s corpse will be transferred soon and it is in good conditions.

  • French consul in Algiers Francis Hood moved to Ethnia hospital where the body of French engineer Pierre Nowak, 57, rested in order to be transferred later to France.

  • Secretary to the foreign trade minister “Ann Marie Idrac” has been present in Algeria since Sunday to participate in the International Exposition which opened in Algiers. She visited the French public works company Razel in order to show solidarity and sympathize with the staff there, according to what was announced by the French embassy in Algeria.

  • It is noteworthy that the French engineer was supervising the maintenance of the railway tunnel works which was damaged after two trains crash. He had been targeted when he was leaving workshops to go to Razel company. A bomb detonated remotely when his car type “Renault Megan” passed by a narrow road obliging the Algerian driver, ”Samir Sayd” ,31, from El Akhdaria( in Bouira province) to reduce speed at the same time of the bomb explosion.

  • It is the second time Razel company’s workers become targeted after a suicide attack on Koudiat Asserdoune project workers failed. Two French, an Italian and their Algerian driver were wounded.

  • Drodkel’s fellows have targeted foreigners including a diplomatic African delegation, mostly from Mali who were visiting Tizi Ouzou.    
  • The so called- Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb claimed responsibility for these acts via the Internet.
