Scrapping legal proceedings against newly – recruited terrorists eager for repentance

Algerian authorities have decided to scrap all legal proceedings against those newly – recruited young terrorists firmly willing to lay down arms and relinquish all together terrorist violence to benefit from the clemency measures enshrined in the National Charter of peace and National Reconciliation.

• These clemency measures are having a positive influence on the families of these newly – recruited young terrorists with many of them expressing their sincere will to give up the path of terrorism lunacy on the wise advice of their relatives.
• Instructions stemming from the higher authorities insist on a special treatment of these precise cases owing to the fact that these youngsters have been misled and manipulated by callous recruiting terrorist agents who took advantage of their paltry social and financial situation.
• These measures are in compliance with the statement made on July 5th by the President of the Republic Abdellaziz Bouteflika who announced that “the state’s hand remains outstretched to her children”.
