Security forces identify terrorists involved in attack on Algerian president Bouteflika
In September 2007, terrorists carried out an assasination attempt against Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
Corroborating sources revealed that the national army troops Saturday eliminated a dangerous terrorist, who could be one of the leaders known to security services, in the region of Arris, Batna (eastern Algeria).

On the other hand, well informed sources revealed that the three terrorists eliminated two months ago in the same region, have been formally identified as being members of the group “death squad” led by Ali Mhira and the one that carried an attack against the president Bouteflika in September 2007.

The three terrorist are Ahmed. F. (30) from Batna, the other one was a teenager (17) from Bardj bou Aareridj and the last one ged 25 from the capital city Algiers.
