Security forces tighten the rope around the mosques.

Algerian security forces started since yesterday the implementation of an order issued by the religious affairs ministry to tighten security inside mosques to prevent the infiltration of terrorists in the aim to recruit suicide bombers.

• The new measures consist in forbidding cars parking around the mosque during this holy month and deploying security agents in order to prevent terrorist attacks carried out by the “Salafit Group for call and combat” whose members targeted in the past mosques in a bid to perpetrate mass killing among the prayers.

• Consequently, security forces patrol by night to control the mosques that were granted permission to open all night to perform the religious ritual, insisting on the cleric to provide them with the identities of the prayers.
