Security opens investigations on Mayors' scandals

Security directorates opened special investigations at the level of wilayas, on the locally elected heads of municipalities and wilayas , in order to consider the deals that were recently signed, according to the reports which revealed that the majority of municipalities of the Republic launched projects of reformatting the installations and tiling of pavements, and granted these projects in accordance with the logic of compromise, which made ​​the suspicion hovering around workshops to re-create markets and cinema halls, and other projects that started since four years, at the time the last official report on nearly 450 elected who were put under judicial control.

Echorouk sources said security will investigate on the recent deals, and put the proceeds for five years that formed the custody of these officials under security inspection, as this action comes to coincide with an impressive move and activity by a number of mayors, as they launched workshops and projects to whiten their reputation in order to run again for the local elections, and ensure a new visa to return to their positions, at a time security sources talk about the movement of a large number of “mayors” to launch local programs and projects, inadvertently to consume the sums that were allocated for these projects.
