Security Services Arrest 10 African Spies In Ghardaia
Security services of Ghardaia province arrest 10 Africans, in the weekend, who are suspected of belonging to a spy cell that is working for the Zionist entity “Mossad, informed sources told Echorouk.
“After receiving information that an African group is staying illegally in Ghardaia Province, security services raided the house where thet live and they found three communication devices of the type Thuraya mobiles, a computer, a voice recorder and a number of other technical devices”.
“National Security Forces arrested the 10 African nationals who come from Mali, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Guinea, Liberia, Kenya and Libya”.
Preliminary investigation shows that the group is active for some time in the field of spying for the Zionist entity, as the group was trying to create confusion in Algeria, starting from Ghardaia, where security restored.
For its part, Ghardaia court sentenced them to temporary confinement on charges of spying, creating confusion and disturbing public security.
Judicial and security services continue to delve deeper into the investigation, to reveal more details, although there were others involved, and the countries from which the members of the cell are originated, and the scheme which they were standing behind for the benefit of foreign entities.
A number of official and political parties, has repeatedly warned of the foreign hands that are trying to involve themselves in Algeria, by spreading confusion and propaganda and exercising “chaos” through the recruitment on “Facebook” and other social networks, where they publish rumors and false news.
Recent events of the beginning of January in some Algerian regions, under the name of “strike of traders and protest against the Finance Act of 2017”, revealed that the stirring operations are trying to pour gasoline on the fire through foreign websites, from some countries, including Israel, France , Morocco and Germany, which aimed at spreading chaos by exploiting some angry youth.
In his first official response to those events, the Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, confirmed that they did not affect the security and stability of the country, praising the great awareness among citizens, especially the youth, and the strength of Algerians who refused to join the ranks of sedition.
He explained in a message to the world, that some of the foreign media promote for “another Arab spring”, asserting that the Algerians do not know the Arab Spring, and reaffirmed that the state’s policy in the social sphere is supporting the needy in housing, prices, and solidarity.
Sellal’s responses were backed by the Interior Minister, Noureddine Badaoui, and the Housing Minister, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, at the time when the security services arrested many people who were involved in the rioting and incitement to chaos, looting and destruction of public and private property in some areas like Bejaia, Bouira and some of Algiers neighborhoods.
Based on the identity of the African detainees, observers believe that the “mastermind” wanted to recruit “spies” from countries which are living bad security and social conditions, such as Libya, Mali, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Guinea, Liberia, and Kenya, through exploiting the poverty and misery of recruits, and buying them with money and temptations, and facilitating their entry to the Algerian territory as refugees who are fleeing war and famine, and “selling” information for the benefit of Israeli parties, that are likely to belong to the “Mossad”, which is the godfather of such operations that target the stability and sovereignty of nations.
