Security study reveals most important crimes in Algeria

Recent security study showed that Algerian society structure is threatened by 10 violent most violent crimes in the last two years. The crimes are spearheaded by intentional assault and the use of knives. Women and children are involved in horrible, violent and dangerous crimes as well.

• The same study pointed out the aggravation of this type of offence on the background of carrying knives followed by thieves groups formation.  They are composed of elected officials and workers in public administrations.
•  The Study warned of the dangers of composing these groups likely to commit murder, assault and funds misappropriation.
•  2,000 “criminal” children arrested in two years and 3,000 young people involved in criminality
• This recent security study which was prepared by liaison cell at the National Gendarmerie, noted that of the violent crimes include beating and the victims are often one parent.
• According to the study statistics, the number of murder cases is raising in addition to violence that is threatening children in this society.
