The burial ceremony for 7 victims of the recent cowardly terrorist bomb attack which targeted a Gendarmerie high school in the town of Les Issers, in Boumerdes province was held on Friday in 2 localities of Batna province in an atmosphere full of grief and emotion.

The 7 young victims mowed down cowardly by terrorist gangs were buried in the localities of Merouana, Bouhamar and Ain Yakout, and N’gaous in the presence of their grieved parents and a large crowd of mournful citizens who declared in unison that the innocent victims died as martyrs.

Meanwhile, other families in Batna province are still awaiting the handing over by the services of the El Alia morgue in Algiers of the bodies of 3 of their next of kin who have been unaccounted for since Les Issers terrorist bombing earlier this week.

The security forces in charge of the counter – terrorism struggle have succeeded in foiling a planned terrorist attack on installations of the National Gas and Electricity Company “Sonelgaz” in Jijel province in eastern Algeria.

Corroborating sources told Echorouk newpaper that the projected terrorist attack had been thwarted after the arrest of an element of a back – up logistics terrorist gang in the region.
