Burial of 7 victims of Les Issers terrorist bombing held in Batna province in emotion – fraught atmosphere.

• The burial ceremony for 7 victims of the recent cowardly terrorist bomb attack which targeted a Gendarmerie high school in the town of Les Issers, in Boumerdes province was held on Friday in 2 localities of Batna province in an atmosphere full of grief and emotion.
• The 7 young victims mowed down cowardly by terrorist gangs were buried in the localities of Merouana, Bouhamar and Ain Yakout, and N’gaous in the presence of their grieved parents and a large crowd of mournful citizens who declared in unison that the innocent victims died as martyrs.
• Meanwhile, other families in Batna province are still awaiting the handing over by the services of the El Alia morgue in Algiers of the bodies of 3 of their next of kin who have been unaccounted for since Les Issers terrorist bombing earlier this week.
• * Canadian Firm “ SNC Lavallin” vows to remain in Algeria despite terrorist threats.
• The official spokesman of the Canadian company “SNC Lavallin” has announced that the company has no intention of leaving Algeria despite being targeted earlier this week in a terrorist bombing in Bouira province.
• 12 company employees were killed in the cowardly attack.

•  10 still reported missing from the victims of Les Issers bombing in Tlemcen province.

• The security service have reportedly discovered, as part of investigations conducted on the scene of last Wednesday’s terrorist attack perpetrated by the suicide bomber “Aboubakr El Assimi”, a driving licence belonging to someone residing in Tizi Ouzou province.
• No indications were however given as to the identity of this person who is believed to be the owner of a “Kangoo utility van”.

• Echorouk has learnt from reliable sources that forces of the National Popular Army have launched, over the past 3 days, a large – scale combing operation to flush out a group of terrorists who are still holed up in a mountainous area of eastern Jijel province.
• The ANP troops are backed by helicopter gunships in the ongoing hot pursuit operation aimed at annihilating the terrorist rear – bases and hide – outs in the region as part of the unflagging struggle against the scourge of terrorism in this eastern part of Algeria.
• · Security forces thwart a planned terrorist attack on Sonelgaz installations in Jijel province.
• The security forces in charge of the counter – terrorism struggle have succeeded in foiling a planned terrorist attack on installations of the National Gas and Electricity Company “Sonelgaz” in Jijel province in eastern Algeria.
• Corroborating sources told Echorouk newpaper that the projected terrorist attack had been thwarted after the arrest of an element of a back – up logistics terrorist gang in the region.
• The arrested terrorist had in his possession detailed maps and other documents related to the targeted Sonelgaz Company.
