Sellal: I will stand by Bouteflika’s side forever

Algeria’s Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal Monday said he will remain faithful to President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and the country is living in a safe situation thanks to the State and the policy of its ruler.

On his visit to the province of Medea, Sellal talked about the dark decade, saying the State managed to restore security to Algeria thanks to the Law on Peace and National Reconciliation.

He added that the most important thing for any nation is safety and stability.

Sellal announced that the tripartite meeting will be held on October 10^th, saying the Algerian economy suffers from many difficulties and the perspectives of nations which rely on oil are very limited.

He believes that the solution is to develop the agricultural sector and to revive industry.

The tripartite meeting will deal with hindrances against the economic growth. A road map would be drawn to revive the industrial sector and attract investment.

Speaking about industrial real-estate, Sellal said an official report showed that 30 percent of the industrial zones real-estate are unexploited while 40 percent of the industrial activity areas are unexploited as well.

“There is a strong political will to eliminate marginalization and injustice. Even if there is a need for patience, those social scourges can be eliminated through unity between the political and popular will,” he said.

“We work on listening to people’s concerns in order to correct mistakes and guide policies. Economy is the only way to create wealth and new jobs,” he added.
