Sellal's government intervene on the line of an early electoral campaign

Recent field visits of members of PM Abdelmalek Sellal’s Government raise many questions about the feasibility and significance of the visits in the period of a political controversy associated with the Presidential Elections 2014.

Do Sellal and his government launch a pre-election campaign? Or these visits are only attempts to polish the program of the President Bouteflika and his accomplishments, aiming to fill the void?

Despite assurances that were launched by Sellal in his last visit to the Wilaya of Tebessa, eastern Algeria, on the activities of government which came in the framework of his missions and duties as a PM, and his rejection of the idea pf launching a campaign to buy the votes of the electorates, but many questions about the movements of the executive branch, which noticed an amendment that has been described as the Bouteflika’s tailor made spring of 2014, through excluding all anti- extension and inheritance voices, as even political and partisan parties doubted on the actions that were taken at the level of the social front, such as launching the large housing program by AADL and Social Housing, and promises for the settlement of the file of pre-employment contracts, and the launch of the program of building 14 treatment centers for cancer patients , and the campaign of the new Minister of Health, who starts a battle under the emblem of cleansing health institutions from indifference and tampering with the sick and mismanagement, to respond to the demands of some employment wires, and talking in closed meetings about the possibility of omitting debts of youth that they obtained in the various employment services.

Sellal’s government ministers intensified the field visits since the meeting of the Council of Ministers, especially in areas which are described as important, which means that President Bouteflika gave instructions to the prime minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, and his government, to the need to listen to the concerns of citizens and address their issues, which enter mostly under the “procedures of enabling the country to prepare the upcoming polls in the” best conditions” that were left by the president during the ministerial meeting.
