“Shaima” girl kid murder case: Three youth arrested

Regional group of gendarmerie of Maalma, in coordination with the regional battalion of Zeralda, arrested on day Tuesday, three people implicated in the killing of the girl child “Shaima” aged 8 years, the case that sparked anger among citizens, and was the most important national event of the last week of the year 2012, because it destabilized the feelings of the Algerians, as an important criminal and moral issue.

Sources linked to file of investigation in the killing of the girl child “Shaima” told Echorouk, that the arrested are “K.B” 31, a merchant, “A.Y” 25, jobless and is prosecuted for his involvement in

the crime of drug trafficking and rape,and “A.M” 21, jobless and prosecuted for theft, in addition that all of them are drug addicts, as the so called “Hamza”, 29, remains innocent in the murder of “Shaima” until now, after the emergence of new facts and the arrest of three criminals.

The same sources added that the three arrested, confessed about their implication in the murder of “Shaima”, who was kidnapped during the last week of 2012, in front of her home’s door in the neighborhood of Safsaf, on the high city of Almaalma municipality in Zeralda (western

Algiers), and was found after 48 hours in the cemetery of the region, murdered with an ugly manner that shook the population’s feelings, locally and nationally, and sparked anger and condemnation of this heinous crime that targeted an innocent girl.

DNA test results, which was conducted by the National Institute of Criminology and Criminal vidence, revealed that the victim’s body and clothes of “Shaima” show that she was beaten and assaulted in a very brutal manner, as forensic report of hospital in Beni Messous showed,

that the child “Shaima” was brutally raped with identification of the time in which this heinous act was done.

Investigation if the gendarmerie services in the case of the killing of the girl child “Shaima,” is continuing to find its mysterious details, especially as the issue raised a lot of question marks among

public opinion, and took the attention of Algerian street.
