Soltani: FLN is everyone’s heritage

Soltani: FLN is everyone’s heritage
Abu Djerra Soltani

National parties and organizations announced on Monday the creation of the Group of Parties and Organizations to Defend Memory and Sovereignty in an attempt to resist the ruling system submission to French dictations and to illuminate national ad international public opinion concerning the vulnerable situation in Algeria.

The National Group (abbreviation) held a conference in presence of organization leaders and political parties. They talked about the promulgation of a law on colonization criminalization, nuclear radioactivity, mines map, national archives, Harkis (Algerians who served the French during the war), pieds-noirs (European settlers in Algeria), French investments and French language.

A debate was raised about the National Liberation Front (FLN) as some parties called for considering it as the National Group’s common heritage.

The suggestion was supported by MSP’s leader Abu Djerra Soltani who said the FL N is “everyone’s heritage” and it should obtain a new accreditation and change its name.

The National Group determined working mechanisms including the National Coordination Commission which includes party and organization leaders, Follow Up and Implementation Commission and Legal Consultation Commission.
