Sonatrach 2'' scandal:Businessmen dragged to investigation

Examining judge of the ninth room of the specialised criminal pole of Sidi M’hamed court in Algiers, in charge of the investigation in the “Sonatrach 2” scandal, sent his assistants to the city of Annaba, eastern Algeria, to investigate with five names who were mentioned during the hearing of the accused, Echorouk informed sources said.
According to Echorouk’s sources, the investigators assigned to Annaba, listened, on Friday, to two persons known in Business and Finance in the city Annaba, and it was found proved that they were implicated in deals and transactions with the named FaridBedjaoui, one of the defendants in the case of Sonatrach, and they offered him facilities in the port of Annaba in the last years.
Same sources aserted that the investigations in the city of Annaba, will extend to include other officials who are likely involved,especially since investigators dispatched to the oil base in Skikda, to investigate on the deals, which consumed billions withsuspicious ways through violating the laws, including a deal that was won by the multinational company “Sigilak”, which is specialized in modern technological security systems, worth $ 65 million euros.
