Sonatrach cancels tanker to move naphtha to Asia

Algerian state-run Sonatrach has cancelled a tanker arrangement to move 50,000 tonnes of naphtha from the country to Asia on July 22, two industry sources said on Tuesday.

• The reason for the cancellation was not immediately known.
• Asia was expected to receive a total of 412,000 tonnes of naphtha in August with the Sonatrach shipment, up from 175,000 tonnes arriving July.
