Sonatrach scandals: huge deal to enter General Manager's son as a shareholder without paying money

Judicial investigations in the case of Sonatrach 01 revealed that the German group “Kontral Algeria Von warak blitak” was able to win suspicious deals with Sonatrach worth 1100 billion centimes, taking advantage of the help of the Genral Manager of Sonatrach Mohamed Meziane, who granted the deals of the German group for the entry of his son “M.B.F” as a shareholder without paying money.

These deals were won by the German group using an illegal and suspicious way, as indicated by the judicial file, under the achievement of a project of creating a visual surveillance system and the electronic system in all Sonatrach compounds at the national level.

The project that the mines and energy minister ordered in March 2004, in order to process Sonatrach facilities with technological systems for control and protection.

Investigations of the services of judicial control have found that the deals which were held with the German group were realized with an illegal way, implicating the General Manager of Sonatrach and his sons in order to enter the Algerian business market in 2005, and get special and unjustified privileges in Sonatrach, at the expanse of the company’s economic interest.
