Spain arrests 3 Algerians and toll rises to 14 detainees

Spanish interior ministry in “Basque” province announced the arrest of three Algerians suspected of financing “Al-Qaida” members since 2001. Thus, the number of Algerian detainees has gone up to 14. Seven of them are under provisional detention.

• According to the Spanish interior minister’s statement, one of those suspects has been arrested in “Azquatia” in “Bask” province while the 2 other suspects were arrested in “Hiolva” (west of Spain).
